From the humble beginnings in a donated stable-church to the present spacious worship site, Saints Philip & James Parish offers Praise, Love, and Thanksgiving to God for many blessings since 1959.

Rejoicing in the gift of the Holy Spirit entrusted to us in Baptism by God our Father, and guided by the light of the Good News of Jesus Christ, we proudly proclaim that we are people of God, whose mission is to know and imitate Jesus each day in every way.

As people of God, united in the parish family of SS. Philip and James, our vision of faith impels us to respond to our mission call:

• By growing deeper in our love for Jesus and for each other through meaningful Eucharist worship, reverent sacramental life, prayerful devotion, and scriptural inspiration;
• By constantly enhancing our knowledge of Jesus and willingly sharing our experience of the Lord with others in every growth in faith;
• By focusing ourselves on the love of Jesus as the source of strength, support, and stability in life's journey, and making the love of Jesus real in the lives of those whose hearts are restless and hunger for guidance and understanding;
• By inviting and welcoming all to share a common bond of friendship with Our Lord, as together we draw strength from this bond to rise above human shortcoming and live more in the imitation of Jesus.
• By growing in our awareness of the needy around us and following Jesus' own example in caring for those in physical need.

When Jesus accepted His Mission Call He prayed, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring good news--to proclaim the Lord's favor."

The Spirit of the Lord is upon us. We are truly blessed to be a parish family that is large and enriched with a diversity of human resources. We ask God, our loving Father, to help us make the best use of the gifts bestowed on us by the Holy Spirit, as each day, in every way we answer the call to know and imitate Jesus in proclaiming the favor of the Lord.
